Foundation Jewellery
Melt, fold, stone setting, connection
It gives people different sense of visual experience; each material tells different stories.
It's a work of art and a kind of emotion, each one of them represents the soul of artist.
Jewellery is what that is.
In this exhibition，I will present two collection works.
The first collection is about <You>, it represents the memories of pain, like the love letters left from your ex-lover or the swan song from departed. I found that the thoughts and information could be transmitted by envelope. So, I used copper foil folded as envelope.
The other one is <Fake gemstone>, during the research I realised that the pattern of nature stone is similar with Chinese ink painting and also is one of the materials for seal cutting art.So I used enamelling to combine them together to explore the rich possibilities and potential of both traditional craftsmanship.
熔化，折叠，镶嵌，连接
它给人们不同的视觉感官体验;每种材料都在讲述这不同的故事。
它是一件艺术品和一种情感，每一件都代表着艺术家的灵魂。
首饰就是这样。
在这次展览中，我将展览出两个系列。
第一个系列是关于《You》，它代表着痛苦的回忆，就像你曾经逝去的情人为你留下的情书或者遗言。我意识到想法和信息可以通过信封来传输。所以，我用铜箔折叠，做成了信封。
我的另一个系列是《Fake Gemstone》，在调研的过程中，我发现天然的石头的图案与中国水墨画非常相似，并且石头恰恰就是篆刻艺术的材料之一。所以我选择用珐琅的方法将它们结合起来探索传统工艺的可能性和潜力。
