Fantasy Memory 幻想的记忆 2011

This project is a design for my name. The first word of my name is "xu" that means the rising of the sun. I want to record the dawn so that I took a series of pictures of the sunrise as my material. After that, I made another material which is also linked with light--kaleidoscope.I cut several photos I took before to put them into my kaleidoscope, and then recorded the different sceneries under the sun by digital camera. Nowadays, when I put them on the windows, they show the splendid view with the sun's love.

The second word of my name is "rui" that represents my parents and I, therefore, I found some common daily products for us to be the material. these goods are all used like towel, teethbursh, and chopsticks. personally, the tracks of using them are able to show that naturally family love in my family and closer to everyone's heart.

这个课题是为自己的名字做一个设计。第一个字是“旭”，旭日东升，初出的阳光。这让我想把朝阳记录下来，于是我拍了一组日出的照片作为素材。然后我制作了一个同样与光有关的材料－－万花筒，将数张照片剪成片状放进万花筒，在阳光下用照相机记录下不同的景。现在我将他们贴在玻璃窗上，透过阳光的照射，更是另一番风景。

第二个字“蕊”，在这个字中有三颗心，代表爸爸、妈妈和我。因此我寻找了一些我们三人共同的日常生活用品作为主要素材，这些东西都是家里的旧物，包括毛巾、牙刷、碗筷等等，使用过的痕迹，我想会更自然更贴近我们，也更能表现出家庭生活的幸福。
