Betty 曲晓帆
The inspiration of my work is often associated with my own experiences and observations. And I hope that I can share this kind of feeling with public. Like last semester I represented the relationship among the city, our homes and ourselves through my work, and used repeated scales to express the idea of everyone is an alien.
This semester I used the phenomenon of people using words to record memories to express the shape of memories which are not only abstract and can’t describe with certain words but also affect our emotions and make up ourselves.
I used pieces of written papers to present the shape of the memories I thought. I used three shapes which are memories are messy and need us to card them, memories are constantly updated every day and memories are decline as the time passing by.
我作品的灵感通常与我自身的经历和感悟有关。而我又常常希望能将这种感悟同大众之间产生共鸣。像是上一学期我通过作品来表现家和城市和自我之间的关系，以及通过重复鳞片组成的不同来变现出每个人都是异类的想法。
这一学期我通过文字记录记忆这一现象来变现出记忆的形状,正式这种组成了我们每个人而又抽象难以言表的东西牵动着我们的情感。
我通过记满文字的纸条来制作出我认为的记忆的形状。我通过记忆是凌乱而又需要整理的，记忆是每天不断更新的以及记忆随着时间的逝去而不断衰退的三种形式来表现。
