Exchange of emotions is the most important form of interaction between people. Whether at work, in school or in everyday life, you communicate your emotions with others through language, tone of voice, your eyes and even hand gestures. However, in this fast paced modern society, people seem to be less and less engaging. This phenomenon inspired me to design jewellery that is not merely a decoration, but also to explore the possibility of jewellery as a mean of communication.
I documented and visualized spaces created by our bodies when happy, sad, angry and nervous. Different materials, textures and colours were used to express emotions associated with these objects, which might generate other moods and feelings when they are seen or touched by others. The interaction between the maker, viewer, and wearer could be triggered and expressed through jewellery, instead of direct use of language.
情感交流是人们生活中最基础的互动，不管你是在工作学习上进行交流；还是在日常生活中进行交流。它都起到了一个非常重要的作用。不仅仅语言是一种情感上的上的交流，有时候一个眼神、一个手势也可以作为一种情感交流。
但是在这个快节奏的现代生活中，人和人之间的交流互动已经越来越少了。这样的现象让我想到当代的首饰的意义已经不仅仅是停留在装饰的层面了，它或许可以作为一种和外界沟通的工具。
我试图将身体在快乐、悲伤、愤怒以及紧张的情绪动作中所产生的空间，记录下来并用不同的材料、质感、颜色表现出来。当我赋予首饰一种情感的时候，别人看到它时也许会产生不同的情感，当他们触碰到它的时候又会感受到另外一种不同的情感。首饰的设计者、观看者和佩戴者就会产生情感上的互动。这种互动也许不是直接的通过言语表达出来的，而是通过对首饰的感受来传递的。
