I believe the jewellery is my substitute.
In my jewellery works, the viewers can find some of my thoughts and past experiences. In my opinion, I copied my thoughts and my personalities on my jewellery. The jewellery does what I want to do but dare not do for me, saying what I want to say but cannot say. I can integrate myself into the work. I think I don't know myself and I don't even know what colour I like. When I am making jewellery, it's like I am trying to find out who I am and why I am making. This is a painful but rewarding thing. I think it is very meaningful for one to know himself or herself.
For example, when I was making a project for neglected children, I tried to recall my childhood and found some persistent but forgotten memories. There are some things I want to talk to my parents, but it's hard to say. Jewellery has become the "person" to speak for me.
Jewellery is an indispensable tool for me because it is very important for me to know myself. The value of contemporary jewellery lies in the fact that each piece of jewellery is a proof of understanding one's life.
我认为首饰是我的替身。
在我的首饰作品上，观者可以发现我的一些思想和过往经历。在我看来是我把我的想法或是性格复制在了首饰上。它替我做我想做但不敢做的事情，说我想说却不能说的话。我可以把自己融入到作品里。我认为我是不了解自己的，我甚至不知道自己喜欢什么颜色。在做首饰的时候就像是在解刨自己，一次次的逼问自己为什么？这是痛苦却又收获颇丰的事情。我认为了解自己是很有意义的。
比如在我制作被忽略的孩子的项目时，我去回忆童年，找到我有些执着但是又选择遗忘的记忆。有些话我想去和父母倾诉但是又难以开口，首饰就成为了替我说话的“人”。
我的首饰展现的是我对自己人性的认知和对个人经历的剖析和理解。不了解自己是很痛苦的。
首饰是我必不可少的工具，因为了解自己对我来说是非常重要的。当代首饰的价值是在于每件首饰都是一个生命对自己一部分的了解证明。
