人们为寻求陪伴感而饲育宠物，然而真正日夜陪伴于我们身边的，其实是被频繁使用的日用品，例如电器或是办公用具。而若是我们能将这些无机物赋予生命、将它们当做活物来照顾和饲养又会如何？

这一发想正是我们这间充满奇妙色彩的宠物店B. D. Besties的基石。通过调整与改造，我们培育出了不同种类的可爱宠物，它们的大小和外形不一，拥有各自的生活习性及偏好的栖息地，可供您挑选最符合自己生活习惯的日常伙伴。店内同样有出售适合这类新型宠物的专用饲料，及其它衍生用品。

店铺选择了色彩鲜艳且带些许古怪感的装潢风格，以期能将本项目以更为幽默玩味的方式

传达给您。通过将部分最常见的日用品变化为“非现实”的宠物，我们希望能让观众思索“陪伴”的定义，并从崭新的角度来看待身边的物件。

Welcome to the incredibly fun and indescribably amazing pet shop “B. D. Besties”, where you can meet with our new best daily besties selections, and be the besties with them! Well, you may ask, what could possibly be those cutie pies we are going to meet? Why, don’t tell me you have never once in your life thought about feeding your scissors as if they are puppies, or putting your phone on a leash!

People have pets to keep them company, as we all know, but what really stays with us day by day inseparably are the daily necessities, such as electric devices and office supplies. Then what if, we choose to take care and feed those lifeless objects as living pets?

This concept became the origin of our wondrous pet shop B. D. Besties, where the daily commodities were raised and sold as living creatures. With certain twists and alterations, we have created different kinds of adorable companions, varying in size and appearance. Each of them has a unique propensity and accustomed habitat. If you want to purchase special pet food and snacks, or other associated products, please check the supply criteria. We as well have our recommendations displayed on the board.

The colourful and quirky visual style has been chosen to deliver our project in a more playful and humorous manner, and to give out a weirdcore undertone – since we have picked out some of the most common daily objects and transferred them into something “unrealistic”. By this, we would like the audiences to reflect on the meaning of companionship, and maybe view the commodities around us from a brand-new angle.
